Who doesn’t love a good lamb stew in Winter.
This recipe is a hearty meal and with the added spices and nuts add a whole new level of flavours to for such a simple dish.
All you need is
1 kilo of lamb
1 tsp minced garlic
2 tsp minced ginger
Persian Spices, turmeric, cumin, black pepper, paprika
1 can diced tomatoes
400 ml chicken stock
1 cinnamon stick
3 sprigs thyme, leaves only
2 bay leaves
100g almonds – 50 grams cook in the stew and 50 grams to add for crunch when it is ready
2 carrots cut into large wedges
Small bunch of coriander (chopped) to add just before serving.
