Eating whole food, plant based diet is associated with many health benefits. Personally, while not going 100% plant based I have noticed a greater sense of well-being since reducing meat from my diet. I’ve also not suffered from protein deficiency as some anti-plant based food protesters claim.

Let’s face it, animal production has led to many problems in this world. The high rates of cancer and diabetes are associated with increased animal production in recent years.

Fast food restaurants continue to serve more animal foods cheaply than whole food, plant based food offerings.

Animal foods are additionally more processed than even a portion of the more processed plant-based foods that people avoid at the store. The animals themselves continue to suffer in awful factory conditions, while human health and the environment continue to deteriorate.

Of course, we cannot change this overnight but we can advocate for better health and a sustainable environment. You and I can do this by choosing an increased amount plant based meals, a move that will also lead to reduced animal production, meaning better quality meat and happier animals.
